We use a small number of cookies, almost all of them strictly necessary to keep you signed in and the site secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not allow third parties to track you across other sites.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage — work the same way for the purposes of this policy and are covered by it.
2. What we set

3. What we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No cross-site tracking pixels
- No social media embeds that fingerprint you
- No data broker or audience-selling tags
Because every cookie we currently set is strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, no consent banner is required under the UK PECR or the EU ePrivacy Directive. If we ever add optional analytics, we will ask first and this page will change before the cookie is set.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent you from signing in or purchasing a subscription, but the public boards, projections and news wire will still be fully readable while signed out.
5. Server logs
Independently of cookies, our host records standard request logs including IP address and user agent. These are used for security and rate limiting and are covered by our Privacy Policy.
